Open Board Positions

The CPPR 2020 Fall Board applications are officially open! To apply, please complete the online application here with your writing samples or graphic designs (details in the application). Applications are due by Sunday, October 11th by 11:59PM EST.

General Secretary: The General Secretary works with the President to lead the strategic planning and oversight of the Board. They are responsible for developing engagement strategies for written contributions by both students and faculty, and work with contributors on edits. They also contribute to editing submissions and preparing the annual print journal.

Associate Editor, Communications: The Associate Editor for Communications will support the Communications Co-Chairs in promoting CPPR’s work and events (both sponsored and co-sponsored) through the website, social media platforms, and CampusGroups. The Associate Editor will assist with engaging the SIPA community for written contributions and student participation. They also support the management and maintenance of CPPR’s online platforms ensuring coordination between all of its platforms and social media.

Treasurer: The Treasurer will oversee CPPR’s budget and finances. They are responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting all finances to SIPASA, as well as leading the overall financial planning in close coordination with the President. They will provide financial/accounting support for all events and activities planned. The Treasurer also contributes to editing submissions and preparing the annual print journal.
