Dan Poniachik is a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice Candidate at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Chile. He previously worked as ideas42’s Project Manager in Chile, running a behaviorally–informed financial inclusion project benefiting low income communities, as well as collaborating with different behavior projects across Latin America. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst at Chile’s National Council of Innovation for Development and a researcher at CIEPLAN, a public policy think tank. He also got to explore a bit of the Middle East through volunteering at the Peres Center for Peace in Israel. Dan is deeply interested in the social and psychological underpinnings of development.
